LS3 E30.

History. In 2016 Lukas fell in love with the E30 chassis and bought himself the gunmetal Mtech II sedan you see here. Over the years we learned lots about the chassis and played around with different methods of adding power such as ITBs, a M50 swap, and finally a Vortech supercharger. With power figures not where we wanted them, we decided to stop beating around the bush, and go right to where real power is made: the tried and true pushrod V8. The final contemplation was: do we do all the modifications to the sedan, or do we buy a nice coupe? *Enter the 1985 325i coupe* A bare bones shell with very little rust that was perfect for our build.
All car enthusiasts know these dangerous words too well: "While we're in there...". While we're in there let's do an engine bay shave, while we're in there let's repaint the subframes and undercoat the car, while we're in there let's just buy a completely new chassis, repaint it, swap over the whole Mtech II body kit, modify it to fit plastic bumpers, do a completely new interior, rewire the entire car, new wheels and tires...the list goes on. Because I don't need money for anything else anyways. |
